I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life—where cast iron has always been part of my camp kitchen. But it wasn’t until 2019, when my husband and I left our desk jobs to live in an RV and travel for a year, that I got serious about cast iron care. Cooking daily in a tiny kitchen and over the campfire taught me what cast iron really needs to stay seasoned and performing its best, and it inspired me to create my own conditioning scrub to make maintenance simple and effective.
Trailside Table was born out of that experience, and today we offer high-quality cast iron cleaning and care products that are easy to use and made with ingredients you can trust. We’re passionate about helping people cook with confidence—whether that’s in a home kitchen or out on the trail. Our products are small-batch and designed to extend the life of your cookware for generations. When I’m not cooking I’m out exploring nature, foraging, or spending time with my husband and our two less-than-feral barn cats.
