Hi, we’re Spice Pilgrim, a woman-owned spice and tea company based in Portland’s Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood. We source whole, single-origin spices straight from small farms and stone-grind them in-house each week, then hand-blend loose-leaf teas that spotlight Pacific-Northwest botanicals.
What began as kitchen experiments to recreate our Punjabi masalas grew into market pop-ups and, in 2022, a full-fledged business fueled by our community’s enthusiasm. Freshly ground spices retain up to four times more essential oils, so cooks need less to unlock big flavor, and by buying direct we give farmers a fair, transparent price.
When we’re not roasting cumin or perfecting a new chai, you’ll find us chatting with shoppers, swapping recipe tips, and brewing free samples for anyone curious enough to stop by.
