Hello, I am Andrea Ulshafer, owner of Sew La Tea Do, and I make handmade children and adult clothing. I started Sew La Tea Do in 2022, after I had spent the early pandemic years sewing for my family as a form of self-care.
While I have been able to sew since my mother taught me as a child, I really became passionate about sewing with knits in 2020. After two years, I combined my passion for sewing, slow fashion, and soft fabrics, and Sew La Tea do was born.
All fabrics are ethically and sustainably sourced, and most fabric prints are made with buttery soft organic cotton lycra. In an effort to cut down textile waste and offer slow fashion options, most of the children’s clothing I offer features a grow-with-me style that allows children to wear their cute clothing up to 3 sizes longer than typical children’s sizing. Children and adult styles offered by Sew La Tea Do include hoodies, sweatshirts, tshirts, pants, skirts, rompers, dresses, and more. All items are either one-of-a-kind or made in small batches, in Ridgefield, WA.
When I’m not sewing, I am spending time playing board games or D&D with my family and friends or enjoying walks in nature.
