La Porteña makes small-batch Argentine chimichurri using a traditional family recipe and fresh, local ingredients. We offer two varieties: Mom’s Green, a bright, herby sauce with farm-fresh ingredients and ají molido chili, a Red Chili chimichurri a rich and savory with a smoky finish.
The inspiration behind La Porteña comes from my family’s love for food, rooted in my Mothers Spanish background and Argentine father’s cooking traditions. As first-generation immigrants, my parents taught us how build community through food and sharing culture. I’m proud to pass down these recipes and techniques to my son in the kitchen. It’s always been my passion to share South American flavors with the diverse food scene in Portland. Watching people embrace our products has been incredible, and we’re honored to share a piece of our family with the community.
