This is my first official year in business! I create small leather goods such as wallets, journals, guitar straps, and more — but this shop is about much more than leather. This business is a tribute to my family and the skills, craftsmanship, and creativity they have passed down to me.
My vision is to expand into laser-engraved items, a skill my grandfather picked up in the early 2000s, as well as wooden goods crafted using techniques my uncle and father taught me. I also hope to showcase the creative writing and artwork my family has produced over the years. That is the future of this business, and a goal I am working toward every day.
I started with leather because it felt like the right foundation — it is strong, durable, and built to last a lifetime. Just like the values my family instilled in me, leather ages beautifully with time, telling its own story along the way. With the goal of honoring my family’s name, I will keep this shop filled with exciting new items — keeping it fun and giving you a glimpse of what it means to be part of the Short family.
