With a shared love of cooking, Kavita and David dove headfirst into the food industry when they launched their Fast and Curryous food truck in 2017. They take pride in developing healthier takes on traditional Indian curries and continually crafting new and exciting recipes. They began selling refrigerated sauces at local markets and recently created shelf-stable versions for the retail market. They have been selling direct to consumers as well as through a local co-op since September 2024. In 2025, they expanded their reach by adding more farmers markets in Eastern Washington and securing retail space at New Seasons Market grocery stores in the Portland region.
Their sauces are made locally using the finest plant-based ingredients. Unlike many competing sauces, they set out to create a shelf-stable product that was minimally processed, using the same ingredients home cooks could find at any grocery store. These sauces — with “naan stop” flavor — make quick and delicious meals with your favorite proteins and vegetables. Sauté, simmer, and serve over rice for a traditional Indian meal, or think outside the box and use them for pizzas, pasta, wings, marinades, dipping sauces, and more.
