Greetings, my name is JoJo and I am Blackbird Alchemy. I offer a large selection of magical all vegan and gluten-free original recipe baked goods. From cookies, muffins, scones, tarts, brownies to savory quiche and handpies.
I’ve been plant based and gluten-free for about 14 years. I felt isolated & bummed that I was unable to get food that I could eat at market or even at grocery stores at the time. So I decided to create it. Previously I had been an Executive Pastry Chef for over a decade. So I used my knowledge to forge new recipes that actually taste delicious and don’t have a weird mouth feel. No more sawdust cookies, or chemical tasting savory foods.
Along the way I get to serve my community and have found community in return. I consider it a great blessing & honor to feed people. Everything is made by me, by hand each week. I source ingredients from market vendors whenever possible and use organic when applicable as well.
